ESL - Children's ESL
For clear pictures, corresponding worksheets and activities, and sometimes stories, you simply cannot beat some of the ESL websites for kids out there.
If you are unsure what I mean, ESL is "English for Speakers of other Languages" - for those who are not native English speakers, learning English. If you think about it, a child with Autism who does not know how to communicate (at all, efficiently, or properly) learning how to, is almost like learning another language.
Flashcards are the common theme throughout, which is obviously beneficial to you as these can be printed either straight away or if you want to shrink them down, you can do it easily. I have listed a couple of sites, that I have found to be the best for us, but there are thousands of websites out there for you to take a look at and so try searching in Google - ESL Children - and other variations and I am sure you'll be pleasantly surprised.
I'm not crazy - trust me. I firmly believe that with the use of these sites, the flashcards, activites and so on, you'll be able to make good progress without paying a penny out - like we have.
Here are my favourites.
